Research, policy
and practice
for the SDGs

Sustainable Development Solutions (SDS) bridges independent expertise, evidence-based monitoring, and global cooperation to accelerate progress on the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement.

SDS works at the nexus of research, policy, and development practice to maximize progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.

Bridging knowledge
and action

Registered as an osaühing in Estonia since 2022, SDS mobilises scholars, freelance professionals, and institutional partners to generate practical solutions on a wide range of sustainable development challenges — at every level of governance.

01

Independent Expertise

SDS convenes scholars and independent professionals to deliver research and problem-solving that is free from institutional constraints — targeted precisely where it matters most.

02

Science-Based Implementation

Evidence-driven SDG implementation supported by rigorous monitoring, accountability mechanisms, and feedback loops that identify policy gaps and long-term priorities.

03

Global Cooperation

SDS works in cooperation with EU Member States, United Nations agencies, international financial institutions, governments, academia, and civil society to build platforms for peer-to-peer learning and shared accountability toward the SDGs.

"SDS promotes science-based SDG implementation, independent monitoring and accountability, feedback loops to identify gaps and prioritize long-term policies, and peer-to-peer learning to identify best practices and local solutions."
